Cheesy Chex Mix

Chex Mix is an old favorite–it’s crunchy and salty, it can have a little sweetness or not, but it is always snackable! Here we take this old favorite and add a gourmet spin: you can even use this recipe as a basis for creating your own mix! And remember, this is easily divvied up for a quick lunchbox add-on or just some after-school noshing!
Chex Cereal (for this recipe you’ll want just plain Chex, but for different recipes, you can explore the flavors available at your local grocery store!)
Cheese Crackers (we just like cheddar for this recipe, but again, play around with it!)
¾ Cup Grated Parmesan
½ Stick of Butter, Melted
Pinch of Garlic Powder
Pinch of Italian Seasoning
Melt your butter in a large microwave-safe bowl (large enough to hold all your ingredients, so a mixing bowl is best). Add in your spices and all your cereal, pretzels and crackers. Mix well, and pour out onto a large baking sheet in a single layer. Bake at 325 F for about 15 minutes, stirring regularly.
